Enhancing Social Innovation in Rural Areas (ESIRA)
January 2024 – December 2027
The main objective of ESIRA is to contribute to the rollout of place-based innovative social economy initiatives for rural inclusion and development in (marginalised) rural areas by supporting enabling frameworks, well-interconnected policy architecture and directly piloting innovative solutions which ultimately build more inclusive, resilient and prosperous rural areas.
Supporting Women-led Innovation in Farming Territories (SWIFT)
January 2024 – December 2027
SWIFT stands for supporting women-led innovations in farming and rural territories. It is a 4 year Horizon Europe project set up with the purpose to advance the position of women and LGBTQI+ persons in farming, and to investigate how agroecological processes can promote gender equality.
Women-led innovation in rural areas (FLIARA)
January 2023 – December 2025
The FLIARA project aims to create a European wide rural innovation ecosystem, which supports women-led innovative practices in farming and rural areas.
Empowering rural communities to act for change (RURACTIVE)
September 2023 – August 2027
RURACTIVE aims to build on this potential to develop and introduce innovative approaches for a sustainable and just transition in support of the European Commission’s efforts as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Supporting the inclusion, wellbeing, and growth of rural areas through multi-actor Smart Villages labs for enhanced governance frameworks (INSPIRE)
October 2024 – September 2027
It aims to promote social inclusion and enhance governance frameworks in European rural areas through a blend of novel research techniques, pilot interventions and policy solutions. It uses advanced methodologies and pilot actions and supports access to high-quality social services by rural citizens.
Mapping, understanding, assessing and predicting the effects of remote working arrangements in urban and rural areas
February 2024 – January 2027
R-Map is a three-year project funded by the European Union and brings together 12 dedicated partners from across Europe. Its mission is to comprehensively study and address the urban-rural gap influenced by remote work. R-Map’s approach includes cross-regional dialogues and policy roundtables to ensure that the findings and recommendations are applicable across diverse regions in Europe and beyond. By understanding and shaping the trends related to remote work, R-Map aims to create environments suitable for both urban and rural settings.
Women-centered intervention for social entrepreneurship resilience
March 2024 – February 2026
WISER is an AMIF project coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce of Seville. The purpose of WISER is to enhance the participation and effective inclusion of migrant women in the labour market through a novel, multistakeholder and multidimensional approach that focuses on reducing the barriers to social entrepreneurship and on enhancing its attractiveness as a career choice for migrant women.
