SERIGO 5 Community of Practice

Community of Practice:

Social Innovation for inclusion of vulnerable groups in rural areas

Join the SERIGO Community of Practice and unlock the power of collective knowledge!

SERIGO is an exciting initiative, supported by the EU, which delves into the realm of social innovations, with a special focus on those fostered by the social economy. Together, we explore how these innovative approaches fortify resilience, foster social inclusion, and elevate the well-being of rural communities.

What is the SERIGO CoP?

The SERIGO CoP is a dynamic community where we come together to share knowledge and learn from each other. Our platform links people from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise across Europe, including those involved in research, policy-making/advising, and social economy initiatives.

The primary goal of this CoP is to co-create and validate key research and policy findings from the SERIGO project, facilitate knowledge transfer, and enable peer-learning among members.

Who can be part of the CoP?

We welcome participation from individuals and organisations from across the EU and its neighbourhood.

  • Policy: EU level, national, regional, and local policymakers and civil servants, interest groups and networks involved in social economy, rural development, and social innovation.
  • Science/Research: Scientific, academic, and research communities working in fields such as rural development, social inclusion, social economy and social innovation.
  • Social economy: non-profit associations, cooperatives, mutual societies, associations and foundations, social enterprises and their networks/federations.
